From the melodist extraordinaire, prepare to hear "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Love is Here to Stay," to selections from the American folk opera "Porgy and Bess" to the brilliant symphonic composer of “An American in Paris,” lauded by Nadia Boulanger and Maurice Ravel, and finally the jazz fusionist behind the groundbreaking blend of classical and jazz in Rhapsody in Blue, with the iconic clarinet glissando echoing Gershwin's trailblazing spirit.

Jazz pianist sensation Ted Rosenthal will share his unique and renowned take on Rhapsody in Blue, and Broadway vocalist Sarah Ellis will dazzle us with Gershwin’s alluring songs, with music performed by the Massapequa Philharmonic, conducted by David Bernard. Don’t miss this extraordinary event!
